Garden Spot Electric was founded in 1967 by Jacob Toews who was joined in 1968 by Rufus Good. One of the first major projects undertaken by the company was the electrical work for the Ephrata Junior High School which was completed in 1970. In the mid 80's Jacob's son Richard and Rufus' sons Anthony and Clayton took over the operation of the company. Since those early days the company has had steady growth and has built a strong foundation of trust with our employees, suppliers, and customers.
Richard J. Toews, an Electrical Engineering graduate of Penn State University as well as a Master Electrician, serves as President of Garden Spot Electric today. Anthony A. Good, who has been with the company since 1976, serves as Superintendent and Vice President. Clayton M. Good with the company since 1980, is an Estimator/Project Manager and also serves as Corporate Secretary.
Today the Employees of Garden Spot Electric are the cornerstone of the company. Together with the management team, the Employees' work to serve the clients needs, and continue the excellent reputation the company has built up in the community since its inception.
